
Chef Paul Azkoul is a Certified Personal Chef with the United States Personal Chef Association [uspca] and is fully insured.
Chef Paul’s experience is broad. He has worked in some of the finest restaurants in the Saint Louis Metro area for over thirty years. Working his way up the food service ladder he started out as sixteen as a simple cook to the only five star Italian restaurant in the country, Tony’s; where he acquired much experience in Italian cuisine. To further his skills in Italian cuisine, over time he has worked in such restaurants as LoRusso’s Cucina and I Fratallini.
Chef Paul’s experience stretches beyond Italian fair by acquiring other culinary skills, venturing into some exotic flavors and textures, including, Latin American; from Mexico, Spain, and the Caribbean Islands and Asian foods; from Thailand in particular.
He obtained his skill for these ethnic foods from varied restaurants such as Algonquin Golf Club, Café Zoë, Labonne Bouché, the former
French pastry shop and Hotel, Chez Louis and Seven Gables Inn in Clayton, plus a great enthusiasm and passion gaining experience by throwing himself into the practice of these great cooking traditions at home are also included in his capability.
Chef Paul Azkoul attended Forest Park Community College for Hotel Restaurant Management, and Chefs Apprentice Associates Degree, which, when he attended, was noted to be one of the top ten culinary schools in the U.S.
He is the owner of two other businesses; Eclectic Cuisine; A Private in Home Dining Service and Traditional Byzantine Iconography.
